ExxonMobil Chemical Surface Protection Screen Protection

Surface protection

When looking for more-versatile surface protection films, Vistamaxx™ performance polymers can offer a number of new possibilities. Used in the adhesive layer of surface protection films, Vistamaxx performance polymers can improve performance because of their inherent outstanding adhesive strength, low gel count and excellent compatibility with polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP).

Performance polymers are an alternative to other materials such as ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) and plastomers in coextruded surface protection films.

Applications and benefits

  • Inherent outstanding adhesive strength
  • Low gel count
  • Excellent compatibility with PE and PP
  • Cost reduction opportunities
