STLE 73rd Annual Meeting & Exhibition | Minneapolis Convention Center (Minneapolis, MN) 20-24 May 2018

At the 2018 STLE Annual Meeting and Exhibition, Michael P. Sheehan, ExxonMobil Senior Staff Chemist in Marketing Technical Services, will present “SpectraSyn Elite mPAO – High-performance Base Stocks for Synthetic Grease Applications.” Current additive packages haven’t evolved for mPAO’s more compact molecular structure and narrow molecular weight distribution. Thus, finding the right formulation balance for deposition performance and extended storage stability requires understanding their solubility properties. This presentation evaluates solutions to assist lubricant formulators in addressing solvency difference while identifying cost effective approaches to improve performance.

The annual meeting and exhibition of The Society of Tribologists and Lubrication Engineers brings industry, academics and government researchers together to learn and share best practices and technological advances in the field of tribology and lubrication engineering. The society offers networking opportunities for lubrication professionals to connect with others in the same or related fields. Please visit us at the ExxonMobil booth (#203).
