Hot-melt adhesives (HMA)  

Hot-melt adhesives (HMA) based on Escorez™ tackifying resins provide optimal hold and superior manufacturing flexibility versus waterborne or solvent-based adhesives. Hot-melt adhesives are widely used in a variety of applications, including packaging, hygiene and assembly.

Hot-melt adhesives are solvent-free, thermoplastic materials that are mixed and applied in the molten state at temperatures varying from 120° to 180°C.

Escorene™ Ultra EVA

Escorene Ultra ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) copolymers resins are well-suited for case and carton sealing and closures, featuring compatibility with both hydrocarbon and natural tackifiers and most waxes.

Vistamaxx™ performance polymers

Low viscosity Vistamaxx polymers create new possibilities for high-performance, low odor and high mileage hot-melt adhesive formulations for cardboard packaging:

  • Up to 90 percent polymer loading possible
  • Significantly lower density and lighter weight formulations for increased mileage, compared to EVA and metallocene polyethylene-based alternatives

Escorez tackifying resins

Adhesives formulated with Escorez tackifiers are compatible with a broad selection of polymers, including ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA), styrenic block copolymers (SIS, SBS, SEBS), metallocene polyolefins and polyalphaolefins. They help maintain the integrity and appearance of the nonwoven fabrics, plastic films and elastic substrates commonly used in the construction of disposable goods.

Vistamaxx performance polymers

Low viscosity Vistamaxx polymers create new possibilities for high-performance, low odor hot-melt adhesive formulations for hygiene construction and elastic attachment:

  • 45-65 percent polymer loading enables formulation flexibility to meet open and set time needs
  • Excellent adhesion to low surface energy substrates
