Webinar: Creating sustainable solutions. Together. (India presentation)

Flexible packaging is often made from multiple types of polymer sheets layered together. Such multilayer packaging is difficult to mechanically recycle and can frequently end up as waste. India's Plastic Waste Management Rules require non-recyclable multi-layer packaging to be phased out*. In India, ExxonMobil is working with leading packaging manufacturers (Amcor and Shrinath Rotopack) along with a prominent packaging machine manufacturer Syntegon Technology India (formerly Bosch) to develop recyclable** packaging solutions. As the country moves away from single-use plastics, many companies are increasingly looking for sustainable packaging options in order to adhere to the government's mandated change to plastic packaging. In collaboration with Amcor, Shrinath Rotopack and Syntegon, ExxonMobil has developed a high-quality, recyclable** packaging solution for dry packaging without compromising the performance features of multilayer flexible packaging options.
