Advantages of Exxsol™ D and Isopar™ fluids

  •  Narrow boiling ranges: for consistent and predictable drying rates
  • Choice of boiling ranges and flash points: for tailored protection solutions in a wide range of evaporation rates
  • Low odor and very low aromatics: for increased worker comfort (Most Isopar grades, in fact, are virtually odorless)
  • High OEL (Occupational Exposure Limits): for safer operations and lower exposure risks
  • Non-corrosive: to be fully compatible with metals
  • Low surface tension: for good spreading properties

The typical aromatic content of Exxsol D fluids is less than 0.5%, far below that of traditional mineral spirits or white spirits, which can reach 30%. Because of their relatively high OELs, they often serve as replacements for more conventional solvents that may be the subject of more onerous regulatory restrictions.
