Improved impact resistance of “pack-away” toy garage


Vistamaxx™ propylene-based elastomer (PBE) has been used as a drop-in modifier to improve the impact performance of a polypropylene (PP) compound used to manufacture a “pack-away” toy garage. The toy now passes the drop test, meeting the requirements of key markets as it is less likely to break. The use of Vistamaxx PBE required no costly mold modifications or production delays, enabling the OEM to meet its scheduled launch plan.
