Houston, Texas (December 19, 2005) -- The Ethylene Elastomers Business of
ExxonMobil Chemical Company announced that it has signed an agreement with
R.T. Vanderbilt Company, Inc. to become a distributor for ExxonMobil
Chemical's commercial Vistalon(R) Ethylene Propylene Diene Rubber - EP(D)M
products in North America.
“This arrangement confirms our commitment and focus on increasing sales and
customer service support,” stated Jeff Davis, vice president, Ethylene
Elastomers, ExxonMobil Chemical Company. “We are very pleased with this
agreement and value the rubber industry expertise R.T. Vanderbilt Company
brings to this relationship.”
Roger Price, President and Chief Operating Officer of R.T. Vanderbilt Company,
Inc. stated that, "This agreement will provide customers with enhanced sales
coverage, local inventories for just-in-time delivery along with the
convenience of one-stop-shopping for their Vistalon(R) EP(D)M and ancillary
rubber processing chemicals."
