Extruded blown films resins
HDPE resins of ExxonMobil Chemical are meeting ever-increasing acceptance in this large market. HTA 001 HD/HP and HTA 002 offer good processability and inherent stiffness and toughness. They can be converted into film that looks, feels and handles much like paper, and that contributes by its strength to improve product protection. Films are also readily printed, enhancing graphic design opportunities. For these reasons, paper-like wrapping films are used in a large range of applications in food, industrial and consumer markets. Applications include shopping, grocery and household bags, refuse sacks, bags-on-the-reel, high-strength liners for industrial and domestic use, and lamination film.
Injection molding resins
The balanced product range of ExxonMobil HDPE resins is well recognized in a world-wide market for injection molding applications of outstanding quality. This is the result of their characteristic combination of toughness and stiffness, and resistance to environmental stress cracking, elevated temperatures and warping. Moldings made from them are designed with thin walls, saving material, and their fast-cycling characteristics also help cost-effective production. Uses for ExxonMobil Chemical grades HMA 014, HMA 035, HMA 025, HMA 016 and HMA 018 include pails, fish crates and bottle crates, housewares, toys, tv-housings, automotive components, and other technical and household applications.
Blow molding resins
ExxonMobil HDPE grades HYA 010 HD, HYA 600 and HYA 800 are designed for small and medium-sized bottles and containers. They offer an excellent compromise of processability and performance for their corresponding end products. ExxonMobil Chemical's blow molding resins can be processed on conventional equipment at temperatures in the range of 150ºC- 190ºC for HYA 600 or HYA 800 and 180ºC-210ºC for HYA 010 HD.
