Grades & Datasheets

- Branched Phthalates
- Linear Phthalates
- Trimellitates
- Adipates
- Secondary Plasticizers

Branched Phthalates
Branched phthalates include C7 to C13 phthalates. This family of plasticizers is the most broadly used. They provide the most desirable combination of performance characteristics and lowest cost.

Linear Phthalates
The term "linear" describes a straight chain alcohol. Linear phthalates are used when greater low temperature flexibility or unique processing needs are required for an end-use application.

Trimellitates
Trimellitates allow flexible vinyl to meet high temperature performance requirements.

Adipates
Adipates are used both as a sole plasticizer and in blends with phthalates to improve low temperature properties.

Secondary Plasticizers
Naphthenic and aliphatic hydrocarbons have limited compatibility with vinyl resins. They are used in blends with primary plasticizers to optimize cost, viscosity and processability.
