| | Compatibilization of Alloys By combining dissimilar polymers as alloys, a much extended range of product performance is achieved. This approach is widespread in today's material developments.
The addition of Exxelor modifiers at levels ranging from 3% to 10% by weight can increase their compatibility, hence their physical properties and thermal and chemical resistance.
Typical blends include:
- PE and PA
- PP and PA
- other engineering thermoplastics and polyolefins.
 |
Laminates of the above mentioned polymers, or PP or PE with EVOH can be produced through the use of Exxelor modifiers which function as adhesion promoters.
