Vistalon™ EPDM rubber for outstanding weather resistance and processing of seals, gaskets and pads.

Vistalon™ EPM copolymers and ethylene propylene diene (EPDM) terpolymers deliver seals and gaskets with a long service life for a wide range of applications, including:
• Residential and commercial construction glazing seals
• Expansion joints for building, tunnels
• Home appliance applications
• Industrial pressure pipes
• Commercial sprinklers
• Water pipes and pumps
• Railway pads

Vistalon 2502, 2504, 3666, 5601, 6602, 7001 and 7500 cover a wide range of purposes and specifications.

Fast-curing and collapse-resistant, Vistalon EPDM can be extruded at high speeds for low part costs. Extruded or molded, seals and gaskets made with Vistalon EPDM perform extremely well and maintain functionality and appearance over a wide temperature range and in UV-intense environments. Vistalon EPDM also offers good tear strength at low compression set.

For home appliances, Vistalon EPDM offers a range of benefits, including excellent heat and ozone resistance, good aesthetics over a wide temperature range, low compression set and good tear strength. Vistalon EPDM grades are well suited for heavy-duty front loader door seals.

Vistalon 6602, 3666 and 5601 EPDM grades are recommended for gaskets, bellows, or water intake hoses that support high pressure.

Other elastomeric solutions

Consider Santoprene™ thermoplastic vulcanizates (TPV) for seals and gaskets requiring tight tolerances and fast molding cycle times, for home appliances such as top-load washer door seals, filter seals, and other applications requiring low compression set and outstanding chemical resistance. For coextruded surface protection films Vistamaxx™ performance polymers provide excellent adhesive strength.
