Available in 150 cSt at 100° C, SpectraSyn Elite™ metallocene polyalphaolefin (mPAO) basestock is a high-performance, high-viscosity (Hi Vis) polyalphaolefin (PAO).
SpectraSyn Elite mPAO basestock uses metallocene catalyst technology to deliver a molecular structure that provides performance advantages not currently available from conventional Hi Vis PAO, including improved:
- Shear stability
- Viscosity index (VI)
- Low-temperature performance
The properties of SpectraSyn Elite mPAO basestock provide formulators the flexibility to develop finished lubricants optimized for all their lubrication challenges. SpectraSyn Elite mPAO basestock is particularly well suited for industrial oils requiring high stability under extreme operating conditions. It can be used in combination with lower-viscosity fluids (PAO, mineral oils) to achieve a wide range of ISO VG industrial and automotive gear oils.
